Do you host private events?Yes. Goat Yoga Events are great for birthday celebrations, corporate events, team socials, teen birthday parties, bachelorette parties etc. Please email Elizabeth for details: Elizabeth@SugarSweetFarm.com
-
How much does it cost?Goat Yoga Events include an hour of yoga instruction followed by a Goat Cuddle Session and Picture Party. After class, guests enjoy visiting our Farm Stand, meeting other animal friends, and visiting other areas of our bucolic farm. $55/person. Premium events like our Halloween Goat Yoga Parties are $65/person.
-
Who is eligible to participate in Goat Yoga?Participants must be over 10 years of age and in good physical health, not suffering from any medical condition which would limit their participation. Goat Yoga is not for small children. Children love Sugar Sweet Farm and we love children and host them through every other farm offering except Goat Yoga. It's the grown ups' turn for some farm fun. If you're interested in a experience for younger children please book a private tour. (Halloween Goat Yoga Events are open to children accompanied by parents ages 9 and up). *FAMILY Goat Yoga (offered occasionally) has a lower age limit to include younger children (ages 6+) with an attending adult. Each person (child & adult) will need their own reservation ($55/person).
-
My child is an animal lover, how do I share the adorable baby goats with him/her?"Please schedule a Private Family Tour to explore the farm with your family, meet, pet, and learn about all the animals and enjoy cuddles with the baby goats.
-
Will there be goat poop?Yes if you are lucky. Goats freely share their goat curiosity, goat silliness, and goat affection– and that all comes with some goat poop and goat pee. We will do our best to help you keep your area clean but nature's call is part of connecting with farm animals. While our goats are very social and friendly, each animal is different in how it interacts with others: some will come right up to you and others may be a little shy. Patience and moving slowly are the best ways for you to pet, hold, and snuggle with our gentle goats.
-
Are there refunds? We do not offer refunds. Our classes fill and sell out quickly. When you register, we hold a spot for you and turn away other yogis. You are welcome to send a friend in your place on the same day if you are unable to make it.
-
Do I have to do yoga? No. It's o.k. to sit on your mat and snuggle goats. It is not o.k. to bring a friend or child who is not registered to hang out, walk around the farm, watch, take pictures, or be on the property.
-
What if there is inclement weather? While we generally enjoy perfect weather at Sugar Sweet Farm, occasionally Mother Nature needs to help her flowers grow. In the event that the weather is below 50° (too cold for humans), above 90° (too hot for goats), or raining, we will cancel class by notifying you via email about 2 hours before class time. We will then help you transfer your registration to a future class on a pretty day.
-
